Corporate “Oz” Awards Gala

A Corporate “OZ” Awards Gala” was designed and produced for 1400 physicians of a Healthcare Organization. The concept was a highly customized and unique “WIZARD of OZ” theme. The event took place over 35,000 square feet of event and meeting room space at the MGM Resort Casino in Maryland. The event venue was perfect because the MGM Studios produced the original movie. An event map provided a guide for a journey of ever unfolding interactive activities, entertainment and never-ending culinary delights. One of the highlights of the evening was the “Courage, If I only Had the Nerve” Lip Sync Battle where the guest’s talent could truly shine. The many event rooms provided the opportunity for creative inactive activities combined with unique bars, and food presentations. The guests were greeted with a yellow brick road and the OZ Gatekeeper and cast. One of the rooms was dedicated to Professor Marvel’s comedic crystal ball readings and several beautifully costumed fortune tellers. Additional décor and photo ops were created for the Wicked Witches Castle Drawbridge and the Cowardly Lion’s and Tinman’s Flying Monkeys. Dorothy and Toto walked the “Yellow Brick Road” evening celebrating and dancing with guests like “There’s no place like Home!
